The Cavs have received trade interest from the Warriors and several other teams about the services of Cedi Osman.

The Cavs have apparently received interest in forward Cedi Osman, according to Sam Amico of FortyEightMinutes.com. Osman is currently trending in the right direction with execs around the league with several teams calling the Cavaliers about what it’d cost to trade for Osman.

The Warriors, while not named the front runners in any potential trade, are apparently willing to offer up a young player in exchange for the dynamic forward.

Here’s what Amico had to say;

"More likely for the Cavs are trades centered on Cedi Osman and/or Taurean Prince. Meanwhile, one source said the Golden State Warriors have interest in Osman (as do the Los Angeles Clippers and Brooklyn Nets), and the Warriors may be willing to part with one of their own young players in return."

While Cedi Osman has been inconsistent this year, he’s got tremendous potential. While trading him isn’t out of the realm of possibility, the Cavs would need to get something back in return for him that isn’t a scrub.

Now, no one thinks the Cavs can land James Wiseman in a trade, but the Warriors have some intriguing pieces that the Cavaliers should be interested in should a trade materialize. If the Cavs land one of these pieces, and maybe a second-rounder, it’d be a no-brainer for the Cavaliers to move on from Osman.
