4. Anthony Walker, LB

News just broke that Anthony Walker vill visit the Browns, and while he’s far from the perfect player, he could be a valuable asset in 2021.

And no, he’s not 30, but at 25, he’s got four years of experience under belt playing for the Colts where he played a ton of snaps.

Adding Walker would be the equivalent of signing B.J. Goodson last season, as the Colts’ free-agent would help fortify the Browns’ run defense.

The Browns have already addressed the linebacker position by bringing back former Super Bowl MVP Malcom Smith for another go-round. It turned out to be a good move, as Smith was PFF’s 13th highest graded linebacker (70.8). He was seventh in coverage grade (79.0).

So, the Browns are exploring the veteran market, and that probably means Cleveland won’t go with a linebacker in the draft. Not with corner being a glaring need, in addition to the lack of a true starter at defensive end.

Walker was a fifth-round pick for the Colts in 2017. He’s played primarily as the “MIKE” backer.
