3. Ryan Kerrigan, EDGE, WFT

His double-digit sack days are behind him, but Ryan Kerrigan would be an excellent addition as a rotational defensive end.

That’s especially true if you believe Takk McKinley is not the final answer at the edge spot opposite of Myles Garrett.

Rotating a player like McKinley, who’s still very young by NFL standard, as well as Kerrigin will mean fresh legs at the position. Plus, it’ll be intriguing to see how they perform with Myles Garrett all but certain to draw a lion’s share of double teams.

Kerrigan’s last great season came in 2018, when he totaled 13.5 sacks and 19.5 total quarterback hits.

He was rumored to be visiting the Bengals, so that should tell you as much as you need to know about his free agent status.
