Round 4, pick 110, Milton Williams, DT, Louisiana Tech

Jackson goes with defensive tackle Milton Williams here, which is in line with the Browns did last draft, selecting an interior defensive lineman later in the draft (Jordan Elliott).

By losing a starter (Larry Ogunjobi), Cleveland needs to find someone to take his snaps. Newly signed free agent Malik Jackson will get a shot, but Elliott will also probably be afforded the chance to earn more time on the field.

Additionally, the Browns need to think long term here, as this will probably be Sheldon Richardson’s last season in an orange helmet.

Why should you keep your eye on Williams? You guessed, it, analytics. The Texas native was named third-team, All-American by Pro Football Focus after Williams led Conference USA with 10 tackles for a loss, in addition to 4.5 sacks.

Need more analytics? Of course we do. Jackson noted how Williams’ SPARQ score is supposed to be “ridiculous.”
