Cavs: Will ‘Core 4’ finally win, or just PR Spin?

A Cavs beat writer posted a tweet highlighting the accomplishments of Cleveland’s “Core” 4, which led one fan to comment his feelings on the matter by calling the reporter a mouthpiece for the team’s PR department.

The aforementioned “Core” consists of Collin Sexton, Darius Garland, Isaac Okoro and Jarrett Allen.

While all four players are young and possess the potential, the idea this quartet will bring the Cavs back to relevance has left more than a few fans skeptical, and based off the record since LeBron James departed, you’d certainly understand why.

With the lottery looming, I thought it’d be a good time to assume the role of judge and look at whether any of these players are truly “Core 4” material, or just a product of the franchise blowing smoke up the chimney.

So here, we go, Cavs’ fans, we’ve seen a lot of losing of the past few years, is there any hope it gets any better?
