Cavs get 3rd in lottery; Picks 6-14

6. OKC: Keon Johson is probably the best player available out of Tennesee, and the Thunder need a PG.

7. Golden State: Franz Wagner will slide into the Warriors as a 3 and D guy on a roster still headlined by mega stars.

8. Orlando: Scottie Barnes, of Florida State isn’t a great scorer, but his defensive ability makes him a fit for the Magic. Plus, he knows how to throw a pass and can take care of business offensively near the rim.

9. Sacramento: Arkansas freshman Moses Moody can hit 3’s, play D, and has a 7-1 wingspan.

10. New Orleans: Baylor’s Davion Mitchell has gotten better as a perimeter shooter and the Pelicans need shooters, to space the floor for Zion Williamson. b

11. Charlotte: Duke power forward Jalen Johnson isn’t a great jump shooter, but does a lot of other things well, especially closer to the rim. MJ continues the hunt to build a winner in Carolina.

12. San Antonio: The Spurs need to start anew, and Australia’s Josh Giddy’s court vision will give the Spurs a vision for the future.

13. Indiana: UCONN’s James Bouknight can hit from deep, and his dribbling ability will get him his own shots.

14. Golden State:  Some have called Gonzaga small forward Corey Kispert the “best pure shooter” in the drafter, and the Warriors love to shot 3’s. With two first rounders, would not be a surprise to see the Warriors trade one of their picks.
