The Cleveland Browns have barely broken in their pads, but that hasn’t stopped some pundits from using precious keyboard strokes to hype the top players in camp thus far.
Granted, the Browns have been playing glorified flag football up until Aug. 3, when they put the pads on. That said, good news is certainly better than the alternative emanating out of Berea.
Take Cincinnati, for example. The latest from the Ohio River has the defense carrying the day so far at Bengals’ camp as Joe Burrow and the offense continue to struggle. Cleveland fans know what that means as the defense was always ahead of the offense.
We found out why that was the case, as those teams usually stunk and the offense was usually ranked toward the bottom of the league.
In Cleveland, one side isn’t dominating the other and that’s fine. Both sides have talent, so you should see plays being made on both sides.
Here’s a look at five members of the Browns who stock is up through seven Training Camp practices.
