2. Cleveland Browns potential target? Matthew Sexton, WR, Steelers

If the Browns wise up and try to find a boost in the return game, then potential Pittsburgh Steelers cut Matthew Sexton should be on the radar of general manager Andrew Berry.

Not many in Pittsburgh could’ve envisioned Sexton seriously challenging Ray-Ray McCloud for one of Pittsburgh’s final receiver spots, but with final cuts coming down on Tuesday, here we are.

Sexton is a slot receiver who has excelled as a punt returner this summer, averaging an astounding 29.3 yards per return.

Obviously, the Browns have a receiver who fits this mold, in JoJo Natson–and ahead of final cuts, it’s anyone’s guess as to whether he’ll make the team or not. Natson is being crunched by rookie third-rounder Anthony Schwartz, in addition to Swiss-army knife Demetric Felton.

If Natson makes the team, it eliminates the need to add Sexton, but he’s definitely someone I’ll be watching as I yearn for something, anything, out of the return game.
