3. Cleveland Browns potential target? Israel Mukuamu, S, Cowboys

Per the Dallas Morning News, Cowboys safety Israel Mukuamu is on the bubble, which makes him a candidate for this list.

At one point, he graded out as Pro Football Focus’ highest-graded safety and is unique because he can play free safety, or up in the box well, in addition to these responsibilities, the 6-foot-4 defensive back has taken reps at the nickel corner position.

The Browns safety position looks great up top with John Johnson III and Ronnie Harrison slated in a starter. Unfortunately, Grant Delpit can’t get healthy following a hamstring injury. The 2020-second-round pick has yet to even play in a preseason game with his team.

Fortunately, the Browns have gotten strong play from one of their own rookie defensive backs, Richard LeCounte.

However, with Delpit’s injury history in addition to Mukuamu’s versatility, he’s someone Cleveland should try and target if Dallas is foolish enough to let him go.
