2. Cleveland Browns: Chase McLaughlin, K

We all wanted to see him make that 57-yarder to close out the first half, alas, it didn’t have enough leg and it dunked off the crossbar.

Obviously, it’s not an easy kick to make, the Browns, who have Super Bowl aspirations, need someone who can make that boot.

Conditions seemed fine for McLaughlin to make the attempt. The roof was open at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, but the fanbase wasn’t exactly frenzied.

To make matters worse, McLaughlin went to miss a point after try, pushing it right. He had been successful on another PAT, as well as field goals from 28 and 32 yards.

The kicking job was McLaughlin’s to lose after the team cut Cody Parky following his quad injury. Now, if someone comes along who is better, the Browns will make the switch.

Perhaps this kicker could be had, although I don’t see the Ravens gifting the Browns a solution to their kicking problems.
