CB Terrance Mitchell

Terrance Mitchell started his career as a seventh-round pick to the Dallas Cowboys but soon found himself playing for the Bears, the Cowboys (again), the Texans, and the Chiefs before ending up in Cleveland in 2018.

During those three years, he was mostly the third or fourth corner on the team at times but due to injuries and performance, found himself starting more than expected. Mitchell played in just eight games in his first year with the Browns but started seven.

When Greedy Williams was drafted in 2019, Mitchell returned to a nickel role and started just four games but played in 15. Due to Williams’ injury in 2020, Mitchell became a starter for the Browns and was one of the big issues in the secondary.

He was let go in the offseason as the Browns attempted to revamp their entire secondary sans one or two players. The team did just that and Mitchell ended up in Houston, where he ended up earning a starting job at corner to start the year.

While it was the Jaguars, he had a solid effort, wracking up five tackles, and even secured himself a forced fumble. He’ll have a much bigger task come Sunday against the Browns, especially if Odell Beckham Jr. is back on the field (and playing like his old self).
