The Cleveland Browns host the Chicago Bears in Week 3 at the stadium and the expectation from schedule prognosticators like myself is that the orange helmets will pick up a win in this one, moving to 2-1.

Of course, the practice week still offers drama, as the NFL world awaits the potential return of Odell Beckham Jr. But even with the uncertainty surrounding the veteran, the Browns are still favored to win, listed as 7.5-point favorites, courtesy of WynnBET.

After taking care of the Texas on Sunday, Browns fans have been confronted with a strange week of debate in that Cleveland beat an opponent by double-digits, there’s plenty of things to be concerned about.

Our quarterback hurt his arm trying to make a tackle on pass a rookie receiver didn’t even attempt to catch. Cleveland didn’t touch Houston’s corner until late into the fourth quarter–and it was safety (Grant Delpit) who finally got it done.

And, the defense made Tyrod Taylor look like Lamar Jackson.

Alas, I tend to believe that each game is its own story. Not everything goes according to plan. If you win, even if it’s ugly, you’ve done your job. You can use the practice week to try and correct mistakes–and I expect the Browns to look sharper against Chicago.

Here’s three reasons the Browns will beat the Bears to move to 2-1 on the season.
