The Browns handled their business on Sunday and these five men helped a lot.

The Browns defeated the Bears 26-6 on Sunday afternoon in what was on the field a one-sided affair. Even if the scoreboard told a different tale. The team did a lot of harm to themselves on offense, with a lot of penalties stunting their drives and some perplexing play calling that came off as “cute” more than effective.

The defense, which had an admittedly easy task ahead of them, did their job and then some, harassing Justin Fields so badly that restraining orders are probably going to be in the works eventually.

The Browns had some issues but largely they played great ball, and these five players arguably had the most impressive game.

Five most impressive Browns’ players from the victory over the Bears

5. Ronnie Harrison

Ronnie Harrison was everywhere on Sunday. He had a massive hit on a punt that leveled the Bears’ returner. He also showed up on defense, with a quarterback hit, a pass deflection, a tackle for a loss, and a sack. Harrison may not be an All-Pro guy, but he sure looked like one on Sunday.

4. Chase McLaughlin

Apologizes to Chase McLaughlin, because he had an impressive day. He hit both of his extra points, while also going 4/4 in field goals; culminating in not one but two 50 yard kicks. His longest was 57, which was impressive regardless of the weather conditions.

3. Baker Mayfield

To be fair, if Baker Mayfield had played this way against the Texans or Bengals, he wouldn’t have been in the Top 5 this week. He played fine, absolutely but what made his performance so impressive was the fact that he was playing a top-tier defense. The Bears are one of the better ones in the league and Mayfield did everything he had to do to help his team win. At the end of the day, that’s all you can ask for. He didn’t have a bad day by any means but after the last two weeks, we know he’s capable of more.

2. Kareem Hunt

It’s funny to say that Nick Chubb “just” had 84 yards rushing and only got 3.8 yards per carry. Most running backs would love a day like that. Chubb was held in check but his backup and running-buddy Kareem Hunt went absolutely bonkers on the Bears’ defense. Hunt had 81 yards rushing for 8.1 yards per carry. He also had 74 yards receiving, most of which came in screens, and scored a touchdown. Hunt looked unstoppable all game.

1. Myles Garrett

But if we’re talking unstoppable, we have to talk about Myles Garrett. A poor blocking scheme and no help on the old and beat-up Jason Peters allowed for Garrett to rack up 4.5 sacks, and be an absolute problem with both the rushing and passing offense. Garrett had struggled the last two weeks and while it’s unrealistic to expect this type of game out of him in the coming weeks, hopefully, it’s what he needed to get his mojo back.
