The Cleveland Browns are slight favorites in their road meeting with the Minnesota Vikings, which could indicate the Week 4 matchup between the two teams could be a closely contested game.

The Browns enter this game sitting right abut where they should be, with a 2-1 mark. This is just the second time the Browns have hit the road, with the only other away game being the opener against Kansas City.

As a disclaimer, I’ll warn you, you won’t either team’s quarterback here. Of course the play of the quarterback is important, but I’ll lean on what Bernie Kosar says about the position being a beneficiary of those around him.

I don’t know what this says about Baker Mayfield, but both teams need to establish the run to kick their offenses into gear while playing strong defense on the other side.

Extra attention should be paid to this one because the fourth game represents the quarter-pole  of the season–or at least it used to in a 16-game season. We should have a good enough idea of who the 2021 Browns are, where they need to get better, and whether it’s likely or not.

With that in mind, here’s five players likely to determine the outcome of the Browns and Vikings Week 4 matchup.
