The  Cleveland Browns ended their losing streak with a 17-14 win against the Broncos.

The Cleveland Browns walked into a fight with the Denver Broncos Thursday night, sporting a body cast, yet Kevin Stefanski’s squad overcame the toughest adversity its seen this season to score a 17-14 win over the Broncos in Week 7.

The victory improves the Browns record to 4-3, and some of the stench from last Sunday’s blowout loss to the Cardinals has been removed, as Cleveland has 10 days to prepare for a Steelers team that really isn’t all that better than Denver.

Adversity will continue to show it’s ugly head on Halloween on the Lake Front, as Baker Mayfield’s future with the team became even more hazy. Now, instead of batting a torn labrum, Mayfield’s injury is compounded by a broken arm bone.

Per pregame reports from Jay Glazer stated Mayfield said he can’t play until the bone heals. Even so, he’ll still have the torn labrum, but if the decision is up to the quarterback, as Mayfield’s made it seem, he’s going to play with that injury, even though it will need surgery at season’s end.

Well, time to take a break from online medical school to take a look at five Browns whose stocks jumped as Cleveland grabbed it’s first tire must-win game of the season.
