Fans of the Cleveland Browns get the rare treat of seeing their team play on Halloween–against the Pittsburgh Steelers, no less.

The Browns have some scary good players, so the team is on point, with a strong costume game for the Oct. 31 matchup at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Taking the time to doctor up these costumes for a walk to the locker room seems like a tall effort, but so goes life as NFL player.

So in honor of Halloween, an award I invented 30 seconds before writing this: The Factory of Sadness Costume Awards, brought to you by our  Twitter handle–cough-shameless plug–cough- (FansidedFoS).

My award for best costume goes to defensive end Myles Garret, because the Browns sack leader really set this day up when he put a put a quarterback graveyard in his front yard.

Garrett dressed as the quarterback reaper, looking to add another body to his yard—beware Big Ben!

Punter Jamie Gillan and kicker Chase McLaughlin get second for their impersonation of Happy Gilmore and his beer guzzling caddy, Otto. With a nickname like the Scottish Hammer, it’s seems to suite the Browns punter.

Browns WR goes Thriller

Odell Beckham dressed as “Thriller” era Michael Jackson, a classic OBJ move. Beckham was getting major run on social media and even on the NFL morning shows for his costume.

Let’s hope OBJ avoids another classic move, where everyone talks about him more in the pregame than what he does on the field. He averages one great game per year for the Browns (I’m thinking Jets in 2019, then Dallas in 2020). He’s due, people.

Demetric Felton teamed up with secondary mates Greg Newsome, M.J. Stewart, A.J. Green and JoVante’ Moffat to impersonate Jabbawockeez.

I do not know anything about this other than what Wikipedia tells me, that Jabbawockeez is a hip-hop dance group–and they performed at the NBA Finals. Major points for an ensemble costume, though.

All of the Browns costumes can be seen in the team’s pregame photo shoot, posted on their website.
