Cleveland Browns: 5 future replacements for Odell Beckham Jr.
2. Cleveland Browns potential target: USC’s Drake London
Drafting a player obviously doesn’t help the offense this year, but if Cleveland’s looking in April, then USC Drake London could be a solution come draft day.
A recent CBS Sports mock had the junior going to Cleveland with the 22nd pick.
London’s out with an ankle injury, but the 6-foo-5, 210 pounder was described as a “bright spot” for the Trojans when on the field.
Unfortunately, London doesn’t have 4.3 40 speed, but that’s OK. Beckham’s uber fast and that hasn’t produced anything of note. Lond’s fast enough, plus, he has the size that’s allowed him to go up and catch the ball.
Cutting Beckham’s $15 million, and putting London with Jarvis Landry, DPJ and Anthony Schwartz would make the receiving corps younger and cheaper.
