3. Cleveland Browns: D’Ernest good enough

There’s no words to describe the loss of Nick Chubb for this game, due to a positive Covid test. Chubb’s vaccinated, so there’s an outside chance he’ll returns pending a negative test, but it’s a long shot.

With that said, D’Ernest Johnson will have his number called.

Obviously, it’s a drop off, but Johnson is good enough that the Browns can effectively run their offense with him carrying the ball.

That especially true with Wyatt Teller blowing people up. I mean, when has an offensive lineman had so many highlights?

I expect the line to do more of what they did in Cincinnati against the Patriots, and that’s enough for Johnson, who had a stellar outing not all that long ago against he Broncos.

If the Browns can run effectively enough to set up the pass, then some more highlight-worthy plays should be in Johnson’s future.
