1. Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski

The current coach of the Cleveland Browns hasn’t seen his stock go down ever since the debacle that was his coaching debut in Baltimore, during Week 1 of the 2020 season.

Of course, that was COVID and an empty Baltimore stadium was strange. Stefanski went on to lead the Browns to the playoffs and then a playoff win. As far as Browns coaches since 1999 go, Stefanski’s stock was Apple.

However, after the crime committed to the legacy of Cleveland Browns football (getting spanked by Belichick, gag!), Stefanski’s name leads the list this week.

1. The scripted plays to start the game, worked…and that’s about it.

2. Unfortunately, that was the only success enjoyed by Stefanski’s offense. He abandoned the run game, especially with the Browns down by 14.

3. Stefanski is Ivy League educated. He must realize that when a team can focus solely on shutting  down the Browns passing game, Cleveland’s offense looked like it did today. Yes, Nick Chubb was out, but D’Ernest Johnson went into halftime with just six yards after a stellar first drive.

4. Baker Mayfield gets dinged for not being able to pull through at the end, and well, Stefanski’s earning a rep as well.

5. When his team is down, he’s shown absolutely no ability to come from behind. Too often, he had Baker in empty sets. That’s Freddie Kitchens junk we’re talking about, now. And the draw on 3rd and 2 out of the shotgun? A major Dawg Pound Woof, and not the good kind.

6. One of the new geniuses of the NFL got to match craniums with the G.O.A.T and it was a disaster. I know, I know, he’s going to tell us he needs to be better. To which I will speak for the fan base by yelling, “You think!?!?.”
