The Browns had entered this game with defensive mojo. They had a defensive touchdown against the Bengals last week and half of their opponents had been held to 16 or fewer points.

Something must’ve been going, right, right? Gulp.

I, like you, have seen enough of whatever Joe Woods is trying to do–that three-safety alignment? It’s garbage because the players here aren’t capable of making it work. It’s crystal clear 10 games into the season.

Woods’ job has to be on life support after his defense displayed an incredibly awful ability to get off the field on third down. The unit looked tired, slow and uninspired when it was obvious they were going to have to come up with stops to shut down Mac Jones and company.

There was no blitzing, which was a head scratcher against a rookie quarterback. We saw how effective it was against Joe Burrow a week ago. Now, all the fans have are tears and regrets.

I typically don’t try to put the coaches on the stock reports, but when you get shellacked like that, accountability starts at the top.
