2. Cleveland Browns TE Austin Hooper

Just days after praising David Njoku and calling into question how much longer Austin Hooper will remain a part of the roster, the veteran proved to be Cleveland’s most reliable pass catcher.

Hooper made a stellar grab on Cleveland’s lone touchdown, coming on 4th down, no less, moments after Njoku had an easy score knocked out of his hands. The throw was toward the back of the end zone and somehow, Hooper was able to keep both feet in bounds.

Hooper caught four of the five targets his way, totaling 25 yards. No, the Hall of Fame isn’t asking for his cleats, but his touchdown grab was the lone glimmer of light in a game that will go down as massacre.

Jarvis Landry outgunned Hooper by yard, ending with four grabs for 26 yards, a reminder of Mayfield and Stefanski to incorporate his wideouts.

Hooper had half of his catches on the team’s first drive, another reminder than when Stefanski sticks to the script, the Browns are unstoppable. When it’s time to get into the flow of the game, though, the head coach had struggled, and that’s being polite.
