3. Cleveland Browns LG Joel Bitonio

Fresh off a new contract extension, Cleveland Browns left guard was PFF’s highest graded offensive player, registering a mark of 80.0.

Yeah, I know. When the left guard is your best player, you’re in for a long day.

Bitonio is a pro’s pro, and locking him up reinforces the Browns commitment to the offensive line. Imagine if this team didn’t have guys like him and Wyatt Teller. Yikes.

Mayfield took another two sacks in the game, as it’s getting difficult to watch him drop back into the pocket. Just going by the eye test here, but he always seems to double clutch before going down.

The line’s giving him enough time to throw, but whether it’s a combination of guys not being open, and/or Mayfield not being decisive enough to make the throw, the results are usually ugly.

Despite the money and draft capital (Jed Wills) invested in the line, Mayfield’s been sacked 26 times. Only five other quarterbacks have been taken down more.
