5 Cleveland Browns whose stock went up in ugly Lions win

The Cleveland Browns escaped Week 11 with a victory over the Detroit Lions, in a game that had some of us feeling pretty low over the team’s shot to make the playoffs.

With two games ahead against the Baltimore Ravens on the docket, being shut out in the second half by a pitiful Lions team doesn’t exactly breed confidence.

Then, the quarterback didn’t talk after the game and his wife re-posted a fan taking a shot at his teammates’ toughness.

In the day after, tempers cooled a bit. Baker Mayfield spoke to the press, while Emily Mayfield is claiming ignorance (basically she was re-posting a bunch of stuff and didn’t pay attention to what she had done).

Plus, the Browns got some help for Baltimore, with the news that Jack Conklin and Kareem Hunt would return to action for Week 12’s Sunday night matchup against the Sky Rats.

Obviously, all is not perfect in Browns Town, and the team is going to have to dramatically better to upset Baltimore.

Hopefully, these five Browns, who saw their stocks rise against the Lions, stay hot for the trip to Baltimore.
