Potential Cleveland Browns QB: Matt Ryan?

While Aaron Rodgers isn’t walking through that door, what about another former MVP?

Enter Matt Ryan. Sure, he’s 37, but he still possesses a strong arm it looks like he’ll continue to play into his early 40s.

Ryan has no supporting cast currently with the Falcons, but that would change instantly with the Browns. This defense is built to win now, while the offensive line and running backs are in place. The Browns will probably improve the wide receiving corps in the offseason, creating all the more reason Ryan would thrive in an orange helmet.

There was speculation Ryan would be dealt last season, but he carries such a big salary cap hit, that it didn’t make sense to part ways. He still carries a hefty cap hit this offseason, but it’s clear he’s not a part of the future there. The Falcons need to cut the cord.
