3. Cleveland Browns RT James Hudson

James Hudson wasn’t perfect, but I’d argue he was an improvement over Blake Hance, who started at right tackle during the game in Baltimore.

The entire unit struggled to create space for Nick Chubb, but in pass protection, Mayfield wasn’t sacked once…although he did take that brutal hit, which led to a trip to the blue tent for concussion protocol.

Not a lot of data on Hudson out there yet, but like any good offensive linemen, you didn’t notice him, because if you did, it likely would’ve been for a mistake.

Injury had forced Hudson into some action earlier this season, and things looked shaky–and that’s being polite.

This one was a small, yet nice step forward for the University of Cincinnati product.
