The Cleveland Browns sunk the hearts of their fans for the second time in five days, as those hard-to-quit orange helmets dropped an almost Christmas miracle to the Green Bay Packers, 24-22.

As Josh Cribbs said many years ago, though: “We almost always almost win.”

I’ve gotta admit, it’s hard to write another one of these columns because the types of losses the fan base endured the past five days have been uber depressing.

Sure, big-picture wise, nobody expected them to knock off Aaron Rodgers and the Cheese Heads. Yet, it was there for the taking, and jus like the Browns have done all season, they failed to come through at the end.

Until next Sunday, when the Browns play the Steelers on Sunday night, we’ll wallow our way through the New Year.

Here’s five Browns whose stock is down in defeat.
