Baker Mayfield’s been drawing Drew Brees comparisons ever since he’s entered the league. He’s come up of short, so far though, although it’s worth remember that it took Brees’ career a few years to take off.

The Chargers looked to be done with Brees when they drafted Phillip Rivers back in 2004, but that’s when Brees started to ball out. The then San Diego Chargers flipped him to New Orleans and the rest is history.
