4. Cleveland Browns Baker Mayfield trade partner? Denver Broncos

I’m not sure how Broncos fan would react to this, but Denver needs an upgrade at the quarterback position and considering who’s under center (Teddy Bridgewater, Drew Lock), Mayfield, I think, would fit the definition.

I’m sure the Broncos fan base would be divided over this idea, just as Browns fans find themselves divided over whether Mayfield is really a long-term solution at quarterback.

Lock showed some good traits for Denver, but Denver brought in Bridgewater to challenge him for the starting job. Bridgewater won the job and in the time I’ve seen Lock play for Bridgewater (who’s was injured earlier in the season) the former looked like a back-up-level player.

I’ve always thought of the Broncos as a potential destination, but when I saw KOA Radio’s Ben Allbright throw out the idea on Twitter, I knew it could be feasible.

Denver needs an upgrade and there’s no immediate help to had in the draft.
