Draft Skyy Moore in the third or fourth round

Skyy Moore’s name is perfect for who he is. The man is a skilled, incredibly fast, receiver prospect out of Western Michigan. He’d probably be a lot higher up the draft boards if he didn’t measure out at just 5’9. I don’t see an issue with that height, and his blazing speed more than makes up for it.

Some scouts and draft outlets have him at a projected 4.2 40-yard dash. Even if he has the same problems running routes as Anthony Schwartz, one has to believe that you can just have both men run straight down the field and one of them will be open eventually.

He’s been projected to go anywhere from the third to fifth rounds in many mocks, and PFF seems to have him going around the third or fourth round. He’s not someone the Browns should hesitate on taking, and if he’s there in the third, he needs to be snatched up. Heck, the Browns may want to consider trading back into the second round if he’s there just to get him. You don’t find speed like his every day and considering that Austin Hooper is one of the fastest targets on the team, the more speed you have the better.

Just look at Kansas City and Cinncinati. We all know that Chiefs WR Tyreke Hill is fast (4.29), but Bengals’ WR Ja’Marr Chase (4.38) and Tee Higgins (4.43) are also incredibly fast. Jarvis Landry posted a 4.77 when he was coming out of college and way before he had hip surgery. It’s fair to say that he’s probably 4.8 these days. The Browns need speed and Moore is the guy to bring it.
