Here are five Cleveland Browns players destined for the Pro Bowl

The 2022 NFL Pro Bowl is in the books. One team won, and no one really cares. It’s a pointless exhibition game that fans are tired of seeing. The game itself has become irrelevant but the selections are still noteworthy. Why? Because Pro Bowl selections, like with All-Pro selections, help solidify contracts, bonuses, and potential Hall of Fame inductions. So the game isn’t really anything to write home about anymore, but the honor of being selected still carries a lot of weight. That’s why Cleveland Browns fans will want to keep an eye out on these upcoming five players.

The franchise has seen several names start to march their way into All-Time status, with Myles Garrett and Joel Bitonio being near locks for Canton (assuming neither gets hurt) and both being right there with Joe Thomas, Phil Dawson, and Joshua Cribbs as franchise greats since the team came back in 1999. Nick Chubb and Denzel Ward are also making waves but they’re a season or two behind the others. Then you have the last of the Browns players from the 2022 Pro Bowl, Wyat Teller, who is on the cups of being an all-time great but is only getting started on that journey.

So obviously this list won’t focus on those five. It also won’t focus on the alternates for the 2022 squad, which included Jadeveon Clowney, Jedrick Wills, Andy Janovich, and JC Tretter. Clowney already went to the Pro Bowl, number one, and probably should’ve gone in 2022 as well. Tretter and Janovich were other names that should’ve been on the Pro Bowl squad for this year but were left off for one reason or another. As for Wills? Never should’ve been an alternate in the first place.

A huge part of these nine players already mentioned and the five players on this list will be down to a bounce-back season by the team. The better the record, the more Pro Bowlers the Browns have. So while we have, I think, the five most likely men to get the nod next year, it could be quite literally anyone who gets to go to the Pro Bowl in 2023.
