No. 2 WR Odell Beckham (Rams)

It’s clear Odell Beckham Jr. isn’t the same play-maker like he was in New York. He went from averaging 14 and 15 yards a catch in his first two seasons to just 11.1 in Los Angeles, averaging just 38 yards per game in the regular season.

He’s looked a bit better in the playoffs, but far from what he could’ve been before the injuries took away aspects of his game. He’s benefited from having Cooper Kupp next to him as well. Kupp is arguably the best receiver in the game today and often demands double if not triple teams in coverage. With a pass-happy offensive in Los Angeles, that means more opportunities for everyone else.

The type of dynamic player that Kupp is can help make anyone look good. It shouldn’t be dismissed that he has been helpful in the team’s quest for the Super Bowl, as he absolutely has. Especially against the 49ers, where he took advantage of some broken coverage and topped 100 yards receiving.

It’s very possible that against the Bengals, the Rams will have to rely on Beckham, Kupp, and others to set and keep the pace against the Bengals. Cincinnati has one of the league’s best crop of receivers, with Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd. Higgins and Chase are among the two of the Top 15 players in the league and Beckham will have to dip back into the well to see if he has any of that 2014 magic left.
