9 moves Browns must make in 2022 offseason to finally get to Super Bowl
The Cleveland Browns had to endure the Cincinnati Bengals going to the Super Bowl for the third time in franchise history, while Paul Brown’s first franchise has never played in the game.
To make matters worse, the lack of an alpha quarterback makes Cleveland’s prospects of reaching The Big Game pretty grim, as the team will have to contend with the likes of Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen and Justin Herbert for the next 10-12 years.
Another offseason offers the chance to fortify the roster, though, and the Browns should be looking for answers after a disappointing 8-9 season.
GM Andrew Berry will use the draft to improve key positions, but free agency will be a weapon, as well. Don’t look for the analytics bunch to go crazy–it hasn’t been their forte, but the Browns do have around $36-$39 million in cap space, so the organization can make a big move if it desires.
Free agents and rookies aren’t the only elixir, though. Plenty of things internally need turned around as well.
So let’s get to it: Here’s 9 offseason moves the Browns must make to get to the Super Bowl in 2022.
