115. 53. WR. Western Michigan. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Skyy Moore. player

Get used to seeing Skyy Moore (PFF #43) on any mock I do; cus he’s on all three. This is my “must-have” of the draft. Yes, Skyy Moore is shorter than others available at 5’9 but he’s also rumored to have a sub 4.3 40-yard dash. He’s also described as having “soft hands”. So he has big-play potential, with good hands. It’s almost like the drafting process is purposefully stupid.

Have we learned nothing from Cooper Kupp? Don’t let silly things hold you back from going after impressive prospects. What are Moore’s issues? Well, according to NFL Draft Buzz they are his height, catching the ball against his pads, played at Western Michigan, and he’s not a great run blocker.

Firstly, most players in college don’t go to the pros. So the whole “didn’t play against top talent” argument is stupid. Not silly, stupid. After all, how many corners in the Power 5 conferences are on par with Jalen Ramsey, Marlon Humphrey, Trevon Diggs, or Denzel Ward?

One? Maybe two? So what exactly are we arguing here? Most of those players aren’t going to the pros, just like most of the guys he faced aren’t. Getting bent out of shape over something so mundane is stupid.

And who cares if he catches with his pads sometimes, the greatest catch in Super Bowl history had a dude pin the ball against his helmet. Nitpick more, why don’t you.
