Cleveland Browns: 1 trade and 2 free agents to replace Jarvis Landry
2. Cleveland Browns should target Allen Robinson II, Bears, FA
Of the three, Robinson would be my top choice because he’s been regarded as a No. 1 receiver, even though his stock dropped last season when he was unable to form any chemistry with rookie quarterback Justin Fields.
It couldn’t get much worse last season for the veteran, who was limited to 12 games, hauling in a career low 38 balls for 410 yards.
Perhaps, Robinson just needs a change of scenery. At 29, he’s only one season removed from a 102-catch, 1,250 yard receiving season with the Bears.
Another reason Robinson would be my top choice: All he costs is money. The Browns biggest issue is fixing the passing game. They could sign Robinson and still draft a receiver in the first round.
