3 Browns whose stocks are up after Deshaun Watson trade
1. Browns WR Amari Cooper
The trade for Amari Cooper was met with approval by the fan base, but the realistic members of the Dawg Pound questioned whether the Alabama product was still a No. 1 wideout as his former team, the Dallas Cowboys, were eager to give up on him.
With the trade for Watson, you’re feeling better about Cooper’s stock than you were with Baker Mayfield throwing him the ball. Say what you want about Baker, but Odell’s Dad’s video brought great attention to the fact that Mayfield couldn’t get the ball to his wide-open superstar receiver.
Cooper is still considered an elite route runner and Watson should make the throws Mayfield missed.
