2022 Cleveland Browns 7-round mock draft misses chance to add starter

Round 3, pick 99: Cleveland Browns pick Josh Paschal, DE, UK-Grade B

If I hat to nit-pick, it’d be that Paschal is a better defender agains the run, than pass rusher. That said, when you’re not able to stop the run, you really wish you had guys up front who could do it.

I’d make this pick even with Jadeveon Clowney’s return in question. It’s been reported the Browns have an offer out there for Clowney and it’s worth noting that he didn’t sign with Cleveland until April 13 of 2021.

Clowney’s taking his time, and in his position, he’s certainly able to do so.
