2. Cleveland Guardians LF Steven Kwan

I don’t care that his streak of swinging and not missing finally ended. The Guardians may actually have a regular corner outfielder in the Oklahoma State product.

Kwan went 2-for-6 in the series and despite not getting a hit in the second game, still drove in a run by taking a four-pitch walk from Reds’ starter Nick Lodolo, who could find home plate using Waze.

Too often, younger payers will go up there looking to take advantage of struggling pitcher, only to whiff or ground out to short. Kwan stayed patient and got the Guards a run.

It wasn’t the eye popping series we got in Kansas City, yet Kwan still managed to produce two runs.

It looks like Josh Naylor will be coming off the IL soon, but Kwan isn’t going anywhere. It’s hard to imagine Oscar Mercado and his nine RBIs are going to be moved, as well.

Here’s how the official stats will go down in history, via Elias Sports Bureau: Kwan’s swing and miss off a Nick Lodolo slider (caught by catcher, considered a whiff) “was the first time in 40 swings this season that Kwan swung and missed. The 116 pitches seen by Kwan are the most without a swing and miss for any batter to start his career among players to debut since 2000.”
