3. Cleveland Guardians do-it-all-guy Owen Miller

After going hitless in the first two games of the 2022 campaign, all Owen Miller has done is collect multi-hit games. He had a two-knock effort in the series opener against the Reds, then followed that performance up with three-more hits–two of which went for home runs–in the finale.

Miller was a lifetime .306 hitter in the minors and he struggled mightily after being called up last season. Now, he appears to have a different comfort level at the plate, like he knows what he’s supposed to  when getting settled at the dish.

I wonder how the roster is going to shake out after Josh Naylor comes off the IL. Certainly, they’re not going to demote Miller as he’s finally started to hit. I wonder what the future may hold for Yu Chang and Ernie Clement, though.
