The Cleveland Browns have signed their undrafted free agents.

The Cleveland Browns are trying to win as many awards for actually building the Browns, like the series, Building the Browns has actually been nominated for. That’s a tall order, as that’s one of the best digital media series going. Coming off the heels of the 2022 NFL Draft, Cleveland didn’t hesitate to add to their rookie bounty.

While the draft left many questions, the team is doing everything they can to hopefully put a team together that is highly entertaining. Part of the process is finding the guys that the league passed over, and getting them the training they need.

This year’s crop of young hopefuls includes talent from colleges I never knew existed. Places such as West Florida, Fisk, Delta State, and Northern Iowa. Yet, they do, and we have players from those schools.

"QB Felix Harper (Alcorn State)WR Isaiah Weston (Northern Iowa)WR Travis Harris (Washington State)WR Mike Harley Jr. (Miami FL)TE Malik Smith (Fisk University) (TE Zaire Mitchell-Paden (Temple)OL Brock Hoffman (Virginia Tech)OL Ben Petrula (Boston College)DT Glen Logan (LSU)DT Roderick Perry II (Illinois)LB Silas Kelly (Costal Carolina)CB Julius Faulk (Delta State)CB Shaun Jolly (Appalachia State)S D’Anthony Bell (West Florida)"

Cleveland Browns continue to bolster the receiver position

If you were looking through the list of players, you’d see the team signed one quarterback, one safety, one linebacker, two offensive linemen, two tight ends, two defensive tackles, two corners,  and three wide receivers.

Clearly, the Browns still aren’t happy with their receiver’s room, and this isn’t even the end of the offseason. The Browns will likely continue moving pieces around in trades or in post-June 1-signings.

The big name from the Browns’ list of undrafted free agents that everyone is talking about is Cleveland Heights-native, is Malik Smith. A former basketball player, who hasn’t played football since his Pop Warner days. Smith got a degree from Fisk University and the Browns are hoping he turns into another Antonio Gates, but who knows if that’ll happen.
