156. . SF. Cleveland Cavaliers. Peyton Watson. 58. player

Peyton Watson is even more of a project pick than Ismael Kamagate. At least Kamagate was a key player in their team and played nearly 30 minutes per game. Watson isn’t even a starter. He played just 12 minutes at UCLA, with just 3 points, 3 rebounds, and less than one assist per game. His shooting splits are abysmal, .322/.226/.688 and he didn’t start a single game for the Bruins.

The fact they’re wasting a pick on Watson, who didn’t prove a single thing in college, is hilariously misguided. Especially since this mock draft still has Drew Timme on the board. Timme isn’t the next Dirk Nowitzki, but if you work with him, he can be a stretch four in the league. He has the touch that big men his size don’t usually have and while he isn’t some ultra-athlete, that never stopped him against some of the best talents in college. Plus, unlike Watson, Timme is a bucket-getter if given the chance.

If the Cavs are deadset on taking a UCLA Bruin, Johnny Juzang is a great prospect. He’s barely tall enough to play a wing position and has a solid three-point shot. If he can improve his defense, he may be something worth keeping an eye on.
