It’s the Cleveland Browns schedule game no one wants to play: How will the Browns do if Deshaun Watson is suspended for the season.

With Watson’s hearing before the NFL concluding ahead of the holiday weekend, everyone with a Twitter account was trying to parse through words shared by “leaks close to the hearings.”

I won’t pretend to have any idea how long Watson gets benched. I do know this: The NFL doesn’t want to look bad and they can’t go back once a ruling has been handed down.

So, as Browns fans wait to hear Watson’s fate, it seems like a year-long suspension is a possibility. With Watson under center, I had the Browns going 13-4. Without him? Well, that’s an entirely different story as Jacoby Brissett would step into the starting quarterback role.

The Browns could always swing another trade for this familiar name, but even then, it seems like a long shot.
