Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons are a team on the verge of causing emotional damage to the entire NFC South. Somehow, through a deal with the devil, or Gisele Bundchen putting a hex on the entire NFC south besides Atlanta by accident, but the Falcons are in first place. They’re not only in first place, but they probably have the best team in the division. The Panthers really started trading away players way too early, because the NFC South is up for grabs.

The Falcons are not a passing team, they’re a running team and they would be wise to over-invest in that concept. They really don’t have a second true playmaker on the team with Cordarrelle Patterson on the IR, a place he’s been since the win over the Cleveland Browns.

Getting Kareem Hunt not only takes the pressure off of Patterson to return too soon but it also gives Marcus Mariotta two new receiving options. Patterson can play more receiver, and Hunt can come out of the backfield and be a more effective receiver than any other back the team has.
