Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tennessee Titans – 8:20 ET on NBC

Between the Sunday Night Game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tennessee Titans and the Monday Night game pitting the Baltimore Ravens and New Orlean Saints against one another; give me the Sunday game.

Sure the Monday night game is a key divisional game, but frankly, the Saints are just a poorly coached team this year and are missing key parts to put together a real playoff squad. The Ravens, on the other hand, just got one of the best linebackers in the league and can now sit Patrick Queen. So they’re geared up and ready to go.

The Chiefs and Titans represent two different standards for playing football. The Chiefs are wild, carefree, and are backed by a dynamic playmaking quarterback who makes as many great throws as he does silly, no-look throws that bite the team in the butt.

The Titans are power football, only throwing when they need to and otherwise giving Derrick Henry all the touches in the world he could ask for. They grind out the clock and force other teams to slow down. After all, you can’t score if your offense never gets on the field.

Both teams also have huge lingering questions, like are the Chiefs able to win if they can’t afford to bring back their best players year after year? Or are the Titans running game and defense enough to combat some of the best quarterback play in the league?

We’ll find out the answer to that question on Sunday night.
