The Cleveland Browns have a tough task against the Miami Dolphins.

I’ve been watching pro football for over 20 years, and when I say this is the most dangerous Miami Dolphins team I’ve ever seen, please understand the context. Yes, there may have been better teams with Dan Marino, and of course the undefeated squad, but I’ve never seen one this dangerous.

We’re only 10 weeks in and Tyreke Hill already has 1,000 yards to his name. Tua Tagovailoa is looking like the league MVP, and the Dolphins are slapping down team after team with him under center.

The Browns are an inconsistent and borderline average team, so the Dolphins are going to really make the Browns hurt. The upset is always possible but this Dolphins’ team is playing otherworldly and the Browns will have their hands full come Sunday.

Three reasons the Cleveland Browns are going to lose to the Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins are undefeated when Tua Tagovailoa starts & finishes

The only game the Miami Dolphins lost in 2022 when Tua Tagovailoa started a game was against the Cincinnati Bengals, where Tagovailoa got hurt before halftime. Outside of that, the Dolphins are undefeated when Tagovailoa starts and finishes a game. His accuracy and ability to push the ball to Tyreke Hill and Jaylen Waddle make the Dolphins super hard to beat and it’s very likely they roast every team they face this season.

The Cleveland Browns’ pass defense is really bad

The Browns have given up the 9th most points in a game for the year. The worst part is, the Browns aren’t even seeing teams pass that often against them. They’re second to last in passing attempts against, but we’ve seen the likes of Joe Flacco wipe the mat with this defense. In fact, the Browns have only faced two “good” passing teams this year; the Los Angeles Chargers and the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals were left inert due to their horrid offensive line, but the Chargers did some real damage through the air. The Dolphins’ pass offense is arguably the best in the league and the Browns are going to be tested like never before.

Kevin Stefanski’s hubris has been the team’s weakness all year

The Browns aren’t a “bad” team, so much as they’re a team that isn’t as good as they could be, and need to be perfectly coached to win games. If you have a guy who puts you in the best position to win, and you fall short, that’s a talent issue. If you have the talent to win but your coach keeps making random calls that hurt you, it’s on the coach. Kevin Stefanski has out-coached himself in every loss and even in some of the wins. While Mike McDaniel is a rookie head coach, he’s already proven to be a great offensive mind. Is it a one-year wonder? Who knows but he’s going to be an issue for Stefanski.
