The Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans game is being limited because it’s going to suck, not because of Deshaun Watson

If you’re not in Cleveland or Houston, you likely won’t see the Browns and Texans.

The Deshaun Watson Circus is off and running, and now we get to deal with the fallout from the man and his deplorable actions. One of those fallout issues that we’re dealing with, is rampant paranoia. After Judge Sue L. Robinson ruled that Waston committed acts of sexual assault, everyone and their buddies tried to justify it. “It’s not legal though”. “They’re lying”. “Ben Roethlisberger…”

At the end of the day, Watson has been found guilty by a judge and that should be all anyone needs to judge him. Yet, people like Garrett Bush have to push conspiracy theories about it, because he needs Watson to be innocent, and lets Bush be held accountable for the people he wishes to associate with.

He’s not the only one, spouting off some wild conspiracy theories either. Enter Greg Rajan, who believes that the NFL is trying to turf the game between the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans on Sunday due to Watson and not wanting to deal with the bad publicity of it all.

The Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans game is going to suck

Only one of two things is very likely to happen on Sunday; the Browns are either going to get a very ready Watson back and they’re going to steamroll the Texans, who have no offense, defense, or hope. Or, the Browns’ embattled quarterback is going to struggle so bad the Texans stay in the game and make it a competitive contest.

A competitive contest with the Texans would only be possible if the Browns were absolutely garbage because the Texans have so little quality talent on their roster in 2022.

The NFL minimizing the encounter had nothing to do with Watson’s return, which is the only storyline anyone will want to see play out in this game and the NFL knows it. Rather, it had to do with the fact that all three other games are just better options.

The Jets vs. Vikings will be a banger and will get the most access. The Ravens have to deal with a staunch Broncos team, and to be fair, despite their large radius of access, they may be in the lowest populated regions in the country. Don’t confuse square feet with the number of people. The Vikings and Jets may have more eyes on them in Minnesota and New York City alone, than in the entire broadcast radius of the Ravens and Broncos game.

Pittsburgh and Atlanta are regional games, with two teams not yet dead in the playoff chase.

It all makes perfect sense when you take the tinfoil hats off.

dark. Next. Myles Garrett had a game-saving sack but the criticisms against him are valid and fair
