Jordan Elliot

Seeing so many of Andrew Berry’s picks either never improve or decline is depressing and it’s gotten to the point where if the Browns went full Los Angeles Rams and said “ef them picks'”, I may be ok with that. The Browns aren’t exactly getting the most out of them. The team has what, landed maybe four starters in three years?

And I mean, that’s it. Not Pro Bowlers, not All-Pros, not even cornerstone-type players. The unsung heroes. I mean four just starters, all of whom could be replaced. It’s been bad. Not the worst it’s ever been, admittedly. How many starters did the Browns draft from 2008 to 2017, ya know?

But those were the “7-9 is a good season” years. The expectations are higher. The demand is higher. The men running this team are supposedly smarter and better. There’s no excuse for the Browns to continually miss this often on high picks. Jordan Elliot is the face of the regime’s inability to admit they screwed up.

Releasing Elliot would show fans the front office realize they can’t keep waiting for guys to develop. The Super Bowl window is four years long from this point out. If they don’t produce in year one, they need to be gone in year two. The team does not have time to hope guys magically get better.
