4. The Cleveland Guardians will land a surprising name via trade

I don’t care what it takes, I’m personally going to will the Bryan Reynolds to the Cleveland Guardians trade into reality. Sure, it may not be Reynolds who ends up in Cleveland when it all is said and done, but with the free agent signings this offseason, and the fact Zach Plesac and Amed Rosario could easily end up on a new team in 2023, it wouldn’t or shouldn’t shock anyone to think that a trade for an All-Star is not only possible but likely.

3. The Cleveland Guardians will win the AL Central

I don’t respect the moves the Chicago White Sox or Minnesota Twins have made this offseason, and frankly, they weren’t very good last year. Overrated? Probably. I’m not going to hold my breath expecting either team is as good as the Guardians for 2023. The White Sox are underachievers and the Twins think giving Carlos Carrera $200 million when he’s failed two physicals was a smart idea.

I’m just saying, they’re not the sharpest crayon eater in school is all. I fully expect the Guardians to not only secure the AL Central again but to do so before the league gets too deep into September. Baring injury, the Guardians should be a Top 10 team in the league, easily, and more than likely Top 5 if the power hitters the team signed pan out.
