Grant Delpit

Of all the players on this list, I have the most faith in Grant Delpit. At least as far as on-the-field play goes. Delpit has shown himself to be a bit unreliable with his behavior. He and Denzel Ward got into during the season, taking digs at one another through the media. He even earned himself a demotion due to violating team rules.

While these aren’t the most egregious of issues, the Browns are not in a place where they can afford even the smallest of issues at the moment. They’re plagued with a poor reputation that extends past the obvious culprits. Ronnie Harrison earned himself a less than sterling reputation for his antics on the field, Ward dinged his with his nonsense feud with Delpit playing out through the media, and “star” defensive end Jadeveon Clown took himself out of a game and wasn’t even punished.

Then of course you have the Myles Garrett saga that occurred in 2022 and you have to think that Delpit’s antics won’t be tolerated much in 2023

Coupled that with the fact Delpit can’t really cover guys, and you have yourself a perfect recipe for a pink slip come 2024. The Browns can’t afford to replace Delpit at the moment so the hope is he gets his head on straight in year four
