Kobe Brown

Coming out of Mizzouri, Kobe Brown is someone the Cavs could use for a few reasons. He’s 6’7, and 240, so he’s a big body. He can play the small or power forward position with a frame like that. He’s a very good rebounder as well, pulling down six per game from his spot on the floor. But what’s most impressive about Brown is his ability to improve his game.

In his first few seasons, he wasn’t much of a name to worry about. In his senior year he took a massive leap, averaging just shy of 16 points, and six rebounds per game. He shot nearly 60% from the floor, and saw his three-point shooting jump from 20.6% in 2022 to 45% in 2023, with more three-pointers attempted to boot.

Brown isn’t going to come in and Peja Stojakovic, but he clearly has an upside to improve. If he continues to work on his three-point shot, he’ll absolutely be the missing piece for the Cavs, but like with most of the guys on this list, he’s a project.

He’ll need time to adjust and grow. If he’s given that, who knows what his upside could actually be for the Cavs in the near or not too distant future?
