5 Browns Injuries That Could Impact Week 7 Game
5. WR Cedric Tillman
Wide receiver Cedric Tillman was one of the players unable to suit up in Week 6 due to a hip injury.
His absence freed up some extra snaps for the supporting members of the WR group, and David Bell happened to take advantage. The 2022 third-round pick saw his first targets since Week 2, and his 3 looks actually tied his season-high.
Though Bell only came up with 1 reception for 6 yards, it was a massive one on fourth down that Cleveland needed to have. The Browns went on to get an important field goal just a few plays later, closing the gap to 17-16.
Bell showing up and getting open in that truly pivotal moment could go a long way toward getting him back in the wide receiver gameplan. Tillman's status for Week 7 is an obstacle, though. Stefanski said Tillman is "good to go" following his one-game absence. It remains to be seen if Bell's clutch catch or Tillman's injury helps the former earn some more targets.
